This is WARGAME MODEL MODS commercial buildings in varied heights. At £25 for 10 buildings laser cut in MDF, I had to try it out! Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday, recieved well packaged Friday and build Saturday.
Each building is packed with a rubber band. Went together really good. Pva glue and some tape while it dried. I must admit I love the smell from them.... Oh well, go on! Saturday evening, a beer, heavy metal in the earphones (Lone was in the same room being creative as well with painting) and I was set to make my city!
As mentioned, they go together very well. No clean up needed and really easy as each bundle was one building. Now...The first picture of the buildings is not mine. That is from Wargame Model Mods homepage. And to me...It looks too clean. A good base to start with, but needed a little bit extra. Clippers, a bit of card and some imagination. And here is my take on it!
The model used for scale is 28mm and from Grekwood miniatures . I still need to make some rubble here and there, paint it all and put some green foilage on it. Want to make it look more overgrown. This set is really a good basis for a ruined city, I may buy another set in order to fill the board. They have LOADS of other models, SCI FI themed, FANTASY themed and extra bits like bases and crates. Well worth a look. http://wargame-model-mods.co.uk/
Now if you will excuse me, time for me to get on working with these.
I like them a lot, I like the smell of PVA in the morning, smells like.....Victory!
SvarSletIt was in fact the burned smell I like...That really makes it worse....
SletGreat looking terrain elements!
SvarSletThey will be well used I can assure you!
SletThey look excellent and a bargain at that price! I shall have to save me some pennies up
SvarSletSo excellent you needed to post twice ? ;-) And yes, quite a bargain. Mind you they also have a ruined set to check out.
SletI have a new work phone and have been testing it out with blogger on the wifi. I couldn't see my comment go up!

SvarSletWhat's not to like about those! A great way to build up a table.
SvarSletIt was easy, pretty cheap and look good. Even better when painted!
SletThey look very good, Johnny, although it's a shame we can't share the smell of them. Still, I bought some wooden bases last year and they have a very distinctive smell. I imagine your buildings will smell the same. I look forward to seeing them all painted.
SvarSletThat smell...And gunpowder...That really is great! Hehe....
SletI will put them on the blog when I have finished them.
Those look great! I couldn't find a link on the site to the collection you purchased? Would you mind posting one?

Sletthere you go
An excellent base indeed! Clearly they need some finishing, as you say, but I think they'll look really good.
SvarSletCheers. Grey concrete, grafitty and some green
SletThose look great and a very cheap way of building quick inner city terrain.
SvarSletLink saved.
Cheers

Smart stuff/
SvarSletI think that they're probably the best value for money mdf stuff I've seen and will make the basis of some great terrain, your own improvements have quickly enhanced them a lot too.
SvarSletCheers guys. Have added a bit of rubble now and are in the process of painting them.
SvarSletVery nice.
SvarSletWhy is there no scratch and sniff on the interwebs? Looking good. Like the fact you've made them more 'gritty', very cool
SvarSletScratch and sniff on the internet? Think about that...Think about that just one more time mate!
SletThose are some pretty nifty ruins! They look easy enough to make up... but then it always looks easy, and when you start it's a nightmare!
SvarSletBelieve me when I say they went together like a charm! Really easy to work with mate
