Cars as cover and scenery in PA gaming

More cover....I needed more cover. Well I could place cars in the street, but they would not be able to be used. I had this burned out car I made. Looking at some of the cars I had it dawned on me. Wrecks or at least make them look like long forgotten and unused! This is a little step by step on 2 of the cars I have recently done. Really easy to do as you can see so try it out!
2 plastic cars, red seems to be the chosen colour most of the time. The jaguar is from poundland that a fellow blogger helped me out with!
First car I took the "glass" out of. Then I needed to press the roof down as I wanted it to lie on the roof. The second car (jaguar) got roughed up a bit with scratches and I cut part of the front wheels of. This way it looked like flat tires.
A bit of wash, a bit of paint. Just be careless when you apply, the effect will be better.
There....Much better with a bit of grass and leaves. Anything goes. I hope this is usefull to you so you want to try it out. There are several MUCH cooler than mine. But these work for my purposes in gaming. And just to show you how it looks here is a quick setup of it.
And remember kids.....DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

  3. Great job again Johnny! I'm already rethinking my zombie bases and I'll certainly add some foliage I bought year ago to them...to fit with my future, overgrown terrain :P

  8. Ah, I really must spend more time making scenery. It's not as if this is expensive or difficult; your examples work very well!
