As you know I will try to advance my zombie gaming a bit and put it in an apocalyptic setting. And I think I have the background story for it now. Chloe and Johnny will still be my main characters. Here is what has happened.
The zombie apocalypse was devastating and it has not been controlled or stopped, no matter what others tell you! Some cities managed to hold out and have fortified themselves. (Think in the ways of Land of the dead) Most land and cities are without laws and almost a deathsentence to be alone in. That does not stop some people doing it. Gangs roam in what is called the wastelands. (Mad Max) and as mentioned some cities still hold out, so does some military installations. Most have gone freelance. Several secret cities have shown themselves. ONLY for the rich and powerfull to find a haven. These are called Diamond cities and are all below ground. Some small communities have survived in the wastelands.
So taking the story from the last battle report.... The party went to the hospital only to see a convoy of black trucks driving away. Not only was it devastated but they found out that the hospital had another section underground. Looked to be laboratory of some kind but everything had been taken away... They stayed at the inn for about a month. Zombie attacks were getting worse so they took of to one of the fortified cities. And stayed for 5 years. Johnny worked as watchman at the edge of the city as he was a marksman. Cosmo the pug did of old age. Ross went his own way in the city. So why did they not stay there? More strict than the old DDR republic. Just enough to live by but nothing else. Hard laws and people were kept in tight reins. If you complained...You disapeared. Riots....Were met by bullets.
How bad could it be outside the walls? Most of the news are sure to be propaganda. Nuclear stations blown up, zombies, mutants and cannibals being the only things moving outside of the city. No electricity or clean water anywhere.
Time to return to Gravesend.........
Sounds good mate. Look forward to some AAR's
SvarSletUsed to go to an under 18s disco in Gravesend, back when I lived down that way. Will look forward to seeing this progress.
SvarSletIt's an interesting twist and I'm looking forward to the new storyline.
SvarSletAh Johnny, you keep teasing, time to show something now!
SvarSletAnd I'm totally borrowing the idea, next time I'll get my brother around to play SA we'll do some gang on gang fighting with zombies just randomly attacking everyone - how could that not be fun!
Oh, also:
